The “ChildTALK: Children Teaching and Learning for and by Kids” Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) 2023 is a comprehensive guide designed to help children learn about their rights. This is developed by AHRC law student interns, with inputs and suggestions from children of Unang Hakbang Foundation (UHF) and Barangay Child Representatives of Mandaluyong City. This guide contains information on a variety of topics related to significant issues that children are currently facing, which are: (1) Basic Children’s Rights, (2) Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (OSAEC), (3) Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity and Expression (SOGIE), (4) Cyberbullying, (5) Mental Health, (6) Adolescent Dating and Pregnancy, and (7) Climate Change and Climate Justice. The FAQs are also a resource for children to seek help or guidance if they feel their rights are being violated. This material is primarily intended for Filipino children aged 10-16 years old, and is written in Tagalog/English and in a child-friendly language. #AKAP #ChildTALK #ChildRights #ChildProtection
