AHRC Pays Courtesy Visit to Philippine Embassy in The Netherlands, Engages with the International Criminal Court

The Ateneo Human Rights Center (AHRC) paid a courtesy visit to the Embassy of the Philippines in The Hague, Netherlands, on Tuesday, September 23.

AHRC Executive Director Atty. Nicolene Arcaina and Communications Director RJ Sangcap were warmly received by Minister and Consul Jarrie Osias—an AHRC alumnus—and His Excellency Ambassador Jose Eduardo Malaya III.

Atty. Arcaina shared AHRC’s ongoing efforts in advancing human rights, while Ambassador Malaya highlighted the Embassy’s work in promoting strong diplomatic relations.

AHRC also visited and engaged with the International Criminal Court in The Hague from 22 to 25 September. During the trip, the team also met with fellow Filipino lawyers who are actively supporting victims of the War on Drugs. AHRC is the Secretariat of the Philippine Coalition for the International Criminal Court.

AHRC is in Europe for meetings and engagements with the International Criminal Court in The Hague, Netherlands and to attend a democracy forum in Athens, Greece where Atty. Arcaina is nominated as finalists of the Kofi Annan Democracy Prize.
